14 July, 2010

Version 1 expects to create 100 jobs over the next three years across its three offices (Dublin, Belfast, Cork) and puts projected revenues in the region of €30M in this timeframe. Version 1 Managing Director Justin Keatinge says, "We have performed very strongly in 2010. Projected turnover is €17.5M and operating profit has risen by close to 50%. We have a strong deals pipeline and over 20 open positions, as well as a number of graduate opportunities. We have grown steadily since our inception in 1996 and believe that Version 1 is entering a period of renewed growth and expansion."

"PM Centrix and Version 1 share a customer-focused, value-driven approach to business," says Keatinge. "We expect this deal to benefit all our customers by strengthening our expertise in Microsoft technology, particularly SharePoint, and enhancing our ability to deliver our services to the Munster region through our new Cork office."

"PM Centrix has always been focused on providing a comprehensive service to our customers. By merging with Version 1, our customers will have access to end-to-end IT services covering everything from expert consulting services to managed support services," says PM Centrix Managing Director Donal Olden. "We are very excited to be joining an Irish organisation with such ambitious growth plans."

The deal merges the capability and expertise of two Microsoft Gold Certified Partners and gives Version 1 the largest Microsoft Practice in the country. Already the number 1 Oracle partner, the deal positions Version 1 as the number 1 Microsoft partner. PM Centrix will in future trade under the name Version 1.
