5 December 2013 - The call went out today for 24 Entrepreneurs to apply for the 2014 Entrepreneur Experience®. This 24 hour event is a unique opportunity for Emerging Entrepreneurs to gain unparalleled access and advice from 24 of Ireland’s most successful Business leaders. The 2014 Entrepreneur Experience® is taking place in Castlemartyr Resort in April 2014.

Emerging Entrepreneurs from all over Ireland and beyond are invited to apply for what Pádraig O’Céidigh described as “The Entrepreneur Experience® is the best entrepreneurship event  of its kind in the world bar none!". Entrepreneurs are divided into three groups; Entrepreneurs with an idea and vision; Entrepreneurs with an investor ready proposition, and Entrepreneurs with an established business seeking to scale.

The Entrepreneur Experience® was the brainchild of AxisBIC and Jim Breen, who led and chaired the event for the first three years with his enormous energy and passion. Jim Breen has passed the baton onto Pete Smyth, CEO and founder of Broadlake Capital.  Pete recently chaired a very lively Venture Academy at the Going International Conference in October and also participated in the 2013 Entrepreneur Experience®.

Speaking at the launch, Michael O’Connor, CEO, AxisBIC said “We are delighted to welcome Pete Smyth on board as our ‘Captain’ for 2014, to lead our team in delivering a memorable event. Over the past four years the Experience has grown to be a life changing and game changing event. It has assisted in delivering about 16 High Performing Start-ups, who have raised in the region of €9million and who have created several hundred export orientated jobs."

The 2014 Entrepreneur Experience® will take place over 24 hours, from Friday the 4th to Saturday 5th of April 2014 at Castlemartyr Resort, Castlemartyr Co. Cork.
