Sleepless in Garryvoe at the Entrepreneur Experience®

11 April, 2011

11th April 2011 – The Entrepreneur Experience® took place in Garryvoe on Friday 8th April and 9th April and was an intensive 24 hour coaching session for Emerging Entrepreneurs. Seasoned Entrepreneurs have given up 24 hours of their time to coach and advise. This unique event is for Ireland’s Emerging Entrepreneurs to gain exclusive access to some of Ireland’s most successful Entrepreneurs.

Developed by AxisBIC and driven by AxisBIC board member Jim Breen, CEO PulseLearning, this event is an exceptional opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs with a new idea, an investor ready proposition or with an established business that is seeking to scale.

The emerging entrepreneurs will get a critical review as well as being shown how to create, access and capture new opportunities with group and one-to-one sessions with some of Irelands leading Entrepreneurs.
Jim Breen, having engaged with AxisBIC when launching Pulse Learning in 1999, understands only too well the value of a 24 hour event like this to fast track key emerging entrepreneurs as well as getting invaluable advice from those who have been there!

“There has never been a greater need for the Entrepreneur in Ireland. All those participating at the event have started their own business and know what it is like to work at the coal face. They understand what it takes to be an Entrepreneur and how hard it is to get across that first hurdle.” said Jim Breen, CEO PulseLearning. “This is an invaluable opportunity for emerging Entrepreneurs to pick the brains of some of Ireland’s top business people, an opportunity like this doesn’t come around very often.”

Participating at the event will be Michael Carey, Executive Chairman Jacob Fruitfield Food Group who said that “In these uncertain times, its events like these that will give emerging Entrepreneurs an edge in their business propositions and road maps.”

Liam Casey, CEO of PCH International who won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007 also participated in the event and commented, “I am excited about being involved in the Entrepreneur Experience project and meeting the latest and newest Entrepreneurs in Ireland. We need to encourage Irish Entrepreneurs as they are the businesses that will get Ireland back on track.”
