Are you Investor Ready? Want to present at the next Venture Academy®?
The 2014 Venture Academy® will take place on the afternoon of Thursday November 27th, at the AxisBIC 'Business without Boundaries' conference.
Here 7 Entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to pitch their proposition to an audience of investors and business professionals. Each entrepreneur will receive feedback, critique and constructive advice on their pitch, presentation and product or service.
Some of the successful companies that have pitched at the Venture Academy® in the past were Radisens Diagnostics, Green Saffron, Tyrecheck, Tweekaboo and Alanya. We have already filled 4 of the spaces available so we have a maximum of 3 spaces left!
Since 2009 AxisBIC have organised 5 Venture Academies (1 in France and 4 in Cork)
34 companies participated, resulting in 16 High Potential Start Ups (HPSUs)

Alanya, winner of the Most Investible Proposition at the 2013 Venture Academy® , also got the opportunity to present at the inaugural Global Cork Economic Forum in City Hall to over 300 people.
Criteria for applicants:
- The Entrepreneur must have an investor grade business plan
- The Entrepreneur must be happy to share key company information to be included in a brochure for the event
- Each of the 7 participants will be invited to a mandatory pitching and coaching session at AxisBIC before the event
- Cost for the Entrepreneur to pitch at the Venture Academy® is €120 (+VAT)
- In anticipation of a large number of applications we may not be able to personally interview each entrepreneur
- The format is a 7 minute presentation followed by 2 to 3 minutes of questions, comments and critique and we will present 2 awards at the event; Most Investible Proposition and Best Presentation.
